September 30, 2009 At Great Hall, Kumasi Polytechnic, NIIT won the GOLD Excellence Award from The Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr. John Gyetuah. Hon. Ashanti Regional Minister (Mr. Kofi Opoku Manu), Representatives from Manhiya Palace, Rector - Kumasi Polytechnic (Dr. Kwesi Prah) were also present at the event. In the ICT Training School category, NIIT won the GOLD award for the fifth time in a row, making it the undisputed leader in tertiary Education. Mr. Vivek Verma, Senior Manager - Sales and Marketing, received the award from the Hon. Dy Minister on behalf of NIIT.
