• NIIT Tamale partners with Ghana Youth Guide Africa to train JHS Students on Cybercrime

NIIT Tamale in partnership with the Ghana Youth Guide Africa (GYGA) has trained final year Junior High School (JHS) students on Cybercrime.

On 7th April, 2018, NIIT Tamale played host to the season one winners of the Talent Hunt competition organized by the GYGA. The twenty contestants worked on projects targeted at Ending Early Child Marriage and Cybercrime.

NIIT Tamale partnered with GYGA to train the winners in ICT and how to protect themselves from cyber fraud. The winners were awarded with certificates of participation at the end of the training. Ghana Youth Guide Africa was grateful to NIIT Tamale for hosting and training the winners of the season one competition. The students were very pleased with the knowledge they have acquired. They also thanked NIIT for the awareness created. With the knowledge gained, they believe they can carry out their mission to the society in a better manner.

The training was carried out under the supervision of Mr. Asadullah the center manager for NIIT Tamale with assistance from the Network Engineering Department.
